Collection of Information
Personal information will be collected from you when you submit your CV through our website or the dedicated recruitment email, whether you are applying for a specific vacancy or sending your CV for any vacancies that might arise in the future.

SGBCy comes in possession of "sensitive" Personal Information unavoidably only when prospective candidates voluntarily provide us with this information by displaying it on their CVs. Sensitive information includes Personal Information regarding a person's race, ethnicity, political beliefs, trade union membership, religious or similar beliefs, physical or mental health, sexual life or criminal record.
Please use your discretion when providing sensitive Personal Information to SGBCy and, under any circumstances, do not provide sensitive Personal Information unless you thereby consent to SGBCy’ s use of that information for its legitimate business purposes and consent to the transfer of such information to and in SGBCy’ s database; since this sensitive information may not be separated from the rest of the information contained on your CV, it will be stored and deleted from our database in the same manner as the rest of the information on your CV, as outlined in the relevant sections of this Privacy policy.
In case you are offered a position by SGBCy, you will be asked to furnish us with a criminal record certificate and undergo a medical examination.

Use of Your Information
Personal Information will only be used for the purpose of processing your application in order to match it with any suitable vacancies that may exist within SGBCy, about which you may be contacted by SGBCy, or any third parties, as specified below, with whom your Personal Information may be shared in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Sharing Information
SGBCy may engage the services of a third party to assist with the selection of suitable candidates for employment with SGBCy. As mentioned above, SGBCy will be responsible for the collection of your Personal Information and, accordingly, may provide your email address to the relevant third party so that they will be able to forward to you the needed information for the applicable selection test. Otherwise, your Personal Information will not be shared with any other third party, unless required by law or with your prior consent.

Security and retention of Your Information
SGBCy will collect and hold your Personal Information into a specific file on one of our computers or other electronic databases in Cyprus.
Security measures are employed to protect your Personal Information as far as possible from access by unauthorized persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. Your Personal Information will be kept for a period of 12 months, during which period you will be informed in case any vacancy arises which matches your qualifications and/or experience. In this respect, we would appreciate it if you informed us of any changes in your CV. After the 12- month period expires, your CV will be deleted from our database.

Accessing and deleting Your Information
You are entitled to see the information held about you by contacting the Data Protection Officer detailed at the end of this Privacy Policy. You may also ask that we rectify or delete your information, earlier than our retention policy provides, in the same manner.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
Any changes to this Privacy Policy in the future will be posted on this Recruitment Site.
