Société Générale Cyprus brings to teenagers from 13-18 an innovative product for assisting them to manage their funds. Teenagers have ongoing expenses and may occasionally have a part time job. For assisting teenagers with their day-to-day banking needs and to prepare them for increased financial independence we are offering the EuroTeen package that responds to the needs of teenagers.

The EuroTeen package offers free of charge the following:

1. Saving Account:
Special interest rates
Free account opening and maintenance
Choose the currency of your account among EUR, GBP and USD
No specific contract required, only the account opening form
Tax interest for Defence may be 3% instead of 10% (you may claim back the difference of 7%)

2. Current account linked to an SGC Visa Electron Card:
Free account opening
No specific contract required, only the account opening form

With your EuroTeen Visa electron card you can withdraw funds from ATMs, pay at shops and visit any SGC branch in person for your withdrawals/deposits.

3. eSGC Internet banking access
With eSGC you can monitor the balance of your account and view your detailed transaction history. You will be using your own username and password to check your account from home, school or anywhere you have a computer with Internet access. The eSGC service is available to you 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

How to open a EuroTeen package?

Just visit one of our branches and meet one of our professional Relationship Officers who will discuss your needs and guide you through the application procedure, or give us a call on SOGEINFO 8000 7777 (toll free) for further information.

For locals: applicants need only to submit their ID and the child’s birth certificate or ID copy
For foreign nationals that are living in Cyprus: applicants need only to submit a copy of their Passport, work permit and child’s birth certificate copy or ID.
